The Champlain Valley School District has announced the selection of Adam Bunting as permanent superintendent. With more than 25 years in teaching and administrative roles, Bunting has spent his entire career educating Vermont's youth.

The new site will elevate the district’s online presence and make it easier for parents, caregivers, students and community members to find important information about the district and its six schools.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, the Vermont state-champion CVU Girls Cross Country Team toed the line at Portland, Oregon’s Glendover Golf Course to compete in the 19th annual Nike Cross Country Nationals. The Redhawks earned a standout 19th place.

The CVSD Early Education Program is now accepting applications for a random prekindergarten lottery drawing for the 2025-26 school year. This lottery is for an opportunity to enroll in one of our school-based classrooms which runs 4 partial days per week.

The new year is set to begin with an administrative restructuring at Charlotte Central School, with Assistant Principal Tim O’Leary transitioning into the lead principal role.
