Champlain Valley Union High School welcomes the Vermont Senate Committee on Education on Monday, December 8, for a full day of sharing how Vermont’s largest high school fosters student engagement. As part of the visit, the community is invited to a public hearing with the Committee on Education from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

The CVSD school board recommends the Vermont School District Redistricting Task Force primarily utilize a supervisory district governance model and believes that CVSD should not consolidate with other districts.

As part of the Vermont Judiciary’s “On the Road” series, the state Supreme Court travels to one Vermont high school each fall. After being briefed on the day’s docket by Vermont Judiciary clerks, students taking business law, AP government and other classes heard oral arguments in three cases currently being appealed before the Supreme Court.
