The Champlain Valley School District Board gathered on December 16 for their final meeting of 2025, with a presentation on the FY27 operations budget, a discussion of a proposed bond to cover building upgrades, and a check-in on CVU’s mobile device—free school day.

On Monday, December 8, members of the Vermont Senate Committee on Education spent a day at CVU this week, learning how the state’s largest high school fosters student engagement.

Champlain Valley Union High School welcomes the Vermont Senate Committee on Education on Monday, December 8, for a full day of sharing how Vermont’s largest high school fosters student engagement. As part of the visit, the community is invited to a public hearing with the Committee on Education from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
